Shaping Young Minds for God's Kingdom
Ushindi Christian International School is dedicated to providing a holistic education that emphasizes academic excellence, strong Christian values, and character development. Our mission is to empower young minds to grow spiritually, academically, and socially, equipping them to be influential leaders in God’s Kingdom.
History and Background
Founded in 2020 by Rev. Ali Ocan Onono during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ushindi emerged from the need for personalized education in a time of crisis. With the support of community members and a dedicated neighbor, Sam Sioga, with one student Hannah Deyo the school began as a home learning center that quickly grew to accommodate 14 students. This transformation marked the beginning of a journey aimed at nurturing the spiritual and academic potential of children in a supportive environment.
